WandlerWhatever one may think of physicists and bankers, Max Wandler, PhD (*1972) is nothing like a crazy professor or a boring calculator. He gets inspiration for his art works from the highest mountains he climbed, the deep waters he dived or his swordplay sessions. Colored pencils on paper is his most beloved technique. It is indeed very time-consuming but yet good for making highly detailed pieces. And, as Max says, every minute is worth it for it feels meditave to him. His pictures might come very allegoric and even surrealistic, yet he affirms that every single detail does make sense. Well, he´s a scientist, after all.
